The Azkoyen Group, a Spanish multinational technology company thatoffers automated products and services, has teamed with Irisbond, a provider eye tracking technology, to introduce a coffee machine controlled solely by eye, according to a press release.

Using infrared-based eye tracking technology, the user's gaze is analyzed by the system, which is able to calculate the exact point the user is looking at to control the machine without the need for physical contact.

The technology does not, under any circumstances, require any user information and therefore no information of a personal nature is stored. This machine is an inclusive and COVID-free prototype that provides the user with complete freedom of interaction and also helps people with reduced mobility.

The Vitro M5, also includes the micro injected air technology, patented by Azkoyen, which produces silky and consistent milk froth that maximizes the quality of the drinks.
