Azkoyen acquires coffee-machine maker Ascaso

Azkoyen Group, a Peralta, Spain-based vending technology provider, has acquired Ascaso, a Barcelona-based manufacturer of coffee machines, for 17 million euros ($17.21 million) with possible additional payments of 4 million euros ($4.05 million) contingent on the 2022-2024 business plan, according to a press release.

José Luis Ascaso, son of the founder and the current CEO, will also join Azkoyen.

Ascaso features machines made of steel and sells to Southeast Asia, Europe, North America and Latin America.
