AVT Names Branding Veteran Wayne Salvino President

LOS ANGELES -- AVT Inc. said it has named Wayne Salvino president. He has 30 years' experience in manufacturing, product development and retail sales at Sears, JC Penney, Costco and Sam's Club.

Salvino also has a background in branding and licensed product retailing, having worked with major sports properties owned by the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and Nascar.

As AVT's president, Salvino will focus on building manufacturing efficiencies and creating new branding partnerships.

The publicly traded machine manufacturer said it has also hired Larina Hoover as treasurer and accountant, and appointed CPA firm RBSM as its new auditor, with managing partner Peter Stefanou leading the charge.
