CORONA, CA -- AVT Inc. said it has partnered with PayRange to make the latter's mobile payment acceptance system's a standard feature on all of its 2016 machines.
AVT machines will be equipped with the PayRange BluKey inline module that sends and receives BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) signals locally, enabling customers to connect directly to it through the PayRange app. The user then simply "swipes" his or her smartphone to make a purchase.
Additionally, AVT's machines will feature PayRange's patented security protocol, which does not store any identifiable card data and is managed by a PCI Level 1 compliant processor.
The PayRange app also offers operators marketing programs, including the ability to activate rewards and promotions to encourage users to keep coming back.
AVT said its latest vending machines will also provide real-time feedback on user behavior and product inventory.
