BLOOMINGTON, MN -- American Vending Sales Inc. will host a vending and micromarket equipment and product show here on Friday, May 6. More than 30 manufacturers and vend product brokers are expected to exhibit the latest vending machines, self-service markets, and food and drinks, hot and cold.
AVS, a full-line vending and amusement equipment distributor headquartered in Elk Grove Village, IL, entered the Minnesota market after acquiring Lieberman Cos. in this Minneapolis suburb earlier this year. Lieberman's annual trade shows have earned high marks from the region's vending operators, and AVS is planning to continue the tradition.
"We are proud to be able to provide this opportunity for our customers to see the newest technology and innovation for their businesses in one place," said AVS vice-president of vending Tom Vogt. "It is also a great time for us to meet with operators one on one to better understand their needs and how we can help them."
AVS's vending and micromarket show runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at the Embassy Suites, 2800 American Blvd. West in Bloomington, MN. Registration is available at americanvending.com/avsnews/events.html.
Founded in Chicago in 1971 by Frank Gumma Sr., American Vending Sales distributes and services amusement, gaming and merchandise vending equipment. AVS has expanded its market reach with two acquisitions this year; in addition to Lieberman, the company acquired Wisconsin's Midwest Equipment Supply LLC, which distributes new and used vending equipment, and provides parts, accessories and service.
