ART launches crowdfunding campaign

Automated Retail Technologies, a developer of the fully automated Just Baked hot-food robotic kiosk, has launched a regulation crowdfunding campaign to support its national expansion, according to a press release.

ART's kiosks are currently deployed in more than 800 locations in the U.S. and the U.K., including airports, hospitals and universities. ART has established partnerships with major foodservice providers such as Aramark, Sodexo and Compass Group, as well as global brands like Nestlé and White Castle.

The Just Baked kiosk uses proprietary robotic technology and machine learning to serve hot, ready-to-eat meals in under two minutes without requiring staff, kitchen infrastructure or late-night labor. The machines offer rotating menus of branded and unbranded items, including products from White Castle, Nestlé, Wow Bao, Hot Pockets and Stouffer's. the technology aims to transform food delivery by providing fast, convenient meals directly at workplaces and public venues while enabling restaurant brands to expand into new markets at a fraction of the cost of traditional locations, according to Founder David Chessler.

Over the past four years, ART has raised more than $70 million in capital and achieved 122% year-over-year revenue growth. The company plans to deploy an additional 400 units and scale production further, targeting more than 340,000 potential partner locations.
