Qu!ck, a new autonomous supermarket concept, has opened in Argentina, offering a cashierless shopping experience. Customers scan their groceries using a mobile app and pay directly within the app, eliminating checkout lines, according to a report from La Nacion.

This scan & go model is similar to Amazon Go stores in the United States. Qu!ck offers various store formats, including full-size locations and micro stores within office buildings or gated communities. These smaller stores provide convenient access to groceries for residents or employees without requiring them to leave their building.

"The proposal is designed for any place where more than 50 people work or live. What we do is set up a minimarket that includes a gondola with 700 items, two refrigerators and a coffee maker. It can be a small, closed environment or be in the middle of the office," Marcos Acuña, founder and CEO of Qu!ck, said in the report. "For the company, it is a service that it offers to employees, in a kind of evolution of the vending machine, with the attraction that our prices are very competitive because we do not have a cashier nor do we pay rent."
