Aramark trims Philadelphia workforce by 3%

Aramark, a national foodservice and refreshments services provider, laid off around 3% of its Philadelphia area workforce of 8,000 employees as part of a restructuring, according to a report in The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The restructuring included its information technology, finance, supply chain and other departments.

The company did not release the exact number of jobs eliminated.
