Aramark creates K-12 student nutrition initiative

Aramark has introduced an initiative for grades K-12 under the name Aramark Student Nutrition for the post pandemic era, according to a press release.

The initiative includes exploration of RFID vending solutions for faculty and staff.

"As part of our continual drive for excellence, we decided it was time to find a reflective name and refreshed graphic identity to impart the passion we have for holistic student wellness," Barbara Flanagan, president of Aramark Student Nutrition, said in the press release.

The company has also developed a Student Nutrition Culinary Alliance uniting 11 chefs who collaborate, review school insights and work together to benefit schools nationwide.
