Aramark Adds 39 K-12 School Districts

PHILADELPHIA -- Aramark will start the new school year providing food and custodial services to an additional 39 K-12 school districts across the U.S.

Topping the list of new accounts secured for the coming academic year is a foodservice contract with the Archdiocese of Chicago, which serves 44,000 K-8 students through its schools. Aramark received another Chicagoland contract with the Naperville Community Unit School District 203 to serve more than 17,000 students.

It also secured two large facility services contracts to clean classrooms in major school districts in Georgia and Texas, with more than 38,000 and 14,000 students, respectively.

Rounding out the new accounts are 23 foodservice and 12 facility services contracts serving an additional 165,000 students in school districts in Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas.

Aramark currently partners with more than 380 school districts nationwide providing some 370 million meals annually to two million children. It also provides facility services to more than 130 school districts across 2,700 buildings.
