Apartment beer vending machine draws complaint

A vending machine that offers beer in addition to other beverages in an apartment building laundry room has caused one resident to complain to the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Board, according to a Vancouver Island Free Daily report.

The board has assigned the complaint to the liquor and cannabis inspector, but no decision has been made.

The resident said the machine, located at the Royal building on 37th Ave. in Vernon, British Columbia, is accessible to the public since the building's front door and gate are often left open.
