Ansa Roasting secures $9M in funding

Ansā Roasting Inc., an Israel based startup which provides a self-serve, countertop roaster for the at-work and hospitality markets, has secured a total of $9 million in a funding round led by Jibe Ventures, a Tel Aviv-based early-stage fund, according to a press release.
Additional participants include Closed Loop Ventures, New Climate Ventures, Millennium Food-tech and Sweetwood.
Ansā has created a fully autonomous mini roaster that serves as a sustainable alternative to the huge, noisy, smoking industrial roasters. It comfortably sits onto any countertop for commercial spaces such as a hotel lobby, restaurant, café or shared work environment.
The funds will be channeled to support commercial rollout of the micro roaster in workspaces across the U.S. and beyond.
