Andamiro Showcases Wares At 10th GTI China Asia Expo In Guangzhou

GUANGZHOU, China - The 10th anniversary GTI Asia China Expo was held here from Sept. 12 to 14 at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex.
Andamiro Co. Ltd. was among the many international amusement manufacturers exhibiting at the event, which was the largest GTI Asia China Expo to date.
On the eve of the show's 10th anniversary opening, its organizers were expecting more than 100,000 visitors to participate. Andamiro's booth was staffed by some 40 company officials demonstrating more than a dozen new products.
On display at the Andamiro booth were several of its top-selling licensed arcade games, including SpongeBob's Pineapple Arcade, SpongeBob Soccer Stars, Paw Patrol and Despicable Me Jelly Lab. Two new video redemption pieces, Monster Catcher and Poogie Race, attracted showgoers' attention.
Andamiro's world-famous rhythm and dance video game, Pump It Up, was among the main attractions of the show. It drew large crowds to the Andamiro booth, where showgoers tried to keep up with the latest version. Pump It Up has enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Asia for 20 years.
South Korea's Andamiro, which is headquartered in the Goyang high-tech satellite city within the nation's the Seoul capital region, sells many of its products in China. To support its growing presence there, Andamiro opened a branch office in Guangzhou in 2011.
According to GTI Expo's organizers, "China has immense needs for entertainment and the government's liberal policy on the [amusement] industry has activated development." For these reasons, the organizers say, more and more game developers from Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong are opening factories in China or creating partnerships with Chinese manufacturers.
GTI Expo's home, the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, is the largest exhibition venue in Asia. Opened in 2002, it has an indoor area covering 130,000 sq.m. (almost 1,400,000 sq.ft.) and six exhibition halls. This year, GTI Expo occupied more than 80,000 sq.m., compared with 9,300 sq.m. at its first staging in 2009. The 2019 exposition is expected to return there.
Andamiro's next big international event is the IAAPA Attractions Expo, which will take place from Nov. 13 to 16 in Orlando, FL. Some 20 Andamiro games are slated for display in Booth 1302 at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center. Among new models scheduled for debut at the Attractions Expo are WWE Superstar Rumble, among other future Andamiro blockbuster games.
Andamiro Co. Ltd. designs and manufactures ticket redemption amusements, prize merchandisers and sports games. Since 1999, Andamiro has published and manufactured the world-famous Pump It Up line of rhythm, music and dance videogames. Andamiro opened its U.S. office in 2000; branch offices in China and Japan were opened in 2011 and 2018, respectively.
