Andamiro Co. has developed machine-specific partitions for some of its games with two player stations, according to a press release. These personal player shields provide a separation solution for Andamiro's SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade and for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Andamiro's solutions are specific to its games, creating a protective barrier and precise fit between two player stations on single cabinets.
The personal player shields are made of ¼-inch clear acrylic that is lightweight, durable, flexible and "insulative." SpongeBob Pineapple's shield, which installs between the game's two front windows, has white trim along the outer edge and offers precise separation without attracting attention. Jurassic World's shield is a freestanding system that slides into position; when the base is positioned under the cabinet front, the shield aligns to form a snug fit between the two player stations.
“Our shields are intended for temporary use,” Andamiro USA president Drew Maniscalco said in the press release. “We're happy to offer them to help operators address customer concerns about safety."
