Amusement machine industry loses Russell Mawdsley

Russell Mawdsley, a former vending and amusement machine operator and president of the Music Operators Association, now known as AMOA, recently passed away, according to an obituary. He was 97 and lived in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Mawdsley formed and operated Russell-Hall Inc., an amusements and vending operation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude, in 2019, and is survived by a sister, Thelma Poitras of Granby, Massachusetts, and several children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
