Amusement industry loses John Huish

John Martin Huish, co-founder of Huish Family Fun Centers, recently passed away, according to an obituary. He passed away in La Mesa, California, and was 85 years old.

Huish and his twin brother, Jim, who preceded him in death, founded the business that included miniature golf, arcade games, batting cages, bumper boats and more.

The brothers were inducted into the Amusement Park Hall of Fame in 2013.

Huish is survived by his wife, Katherine "Kathy" Huish, his children, Shane (Michael Sage Harper), Scott (Amy), Michael "Mike" (Julie), Kristina "Tina" (Justin) Kargis David "Dave" (Anna), Debbie (Deron) Hunt, Amber (Lenny) Cordero, Ashley and Lisa; 23 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren with one on the way.
