AMOA-New York Releases 2015 Awards Video Honoring The Stylistics And Allen Weisberg

NEW YORK CITY -- The Amusement and Music Owners of New York has released a memento video of its annual dinner and Jukebox Artist of the Year tribute, which took place here on May 4. This year, the association also bestowed its highest honor on photobooth legend Allen Weisberg, who is AMOA-NY's Man of the Year.

In the video, AMOA-NY president Ken Goldberg of Emerson Amusement (Woodside, NY) thanks supporters of this year's event, and presents the Jukebox Artist of Year Award to The Stylistics. The highlight of the evening was Weisberg's accepting the Man of the Year Award. Weisberg is founder of Apple Industries, the nation's leading photobooth maker. | SEE STORY

AMOA-NY comprises amusement machine and jukebox operators from New York City and the surrounding tri-state region. It held its annual dinner at Uncle Jack's Steakhouse in midtown Manhattan. Goldberg said AMOA-NY attracted a record turnout. Joe Bossalina of McGee Amusements (Ridgefield, NJ) won a brand-new Face Place photobooth in a limited-draw $1,500-a-ticket raffle. Once again, AMOA-NY hosted a fun evening with outstanding food, Goldberg noted.

Last year, the association presented its 2014 Jukebox Artist of the Year Award to singer-songwriter Judy Collins, who praised jukebox operators. | SEE STORY
