AMIs Latest Contest Spotlights Lindsey Buckingham Solo Anthology

Lindsey Buckingham won wide fame as the lead guitarist and one of the lead vocalists for Fleetwood Mac while he was with that band from 1974 through 1986. In 1988, he was inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Fleetwood Mac, which he rejoined from 1997 to 2018.
During his long and diverse career, Buckingham produced six solo albums and three live albums. In addition to his work as a vocalist and guitarist, Buckingham is a songwriter and producer. He is well-known for movie soundtrack hits like "Holiday Road" from National Lampoon's Vacation, in addition to his studio albums.
His distinguished solo career is honored in the new anthology, which features studio versions, live performances and alternate renditions of his greatest hits. The career-spanning "best-of" collection also includes his soundtrack classics and tracks from his 2017 collaboration with Christine McVie. AMI believes that it is a necessary addition to any rock album collection.
Rolling Stone magazine honored Lindsey Buckingham as one of the greatest rock guitarists in its 2011 list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." He is known for his unique fingerpicking guitar style. Rather than using a pick like most guitarists, Buckingham uses this fingertips and fingernails to strum the guitar strings. Among his many accolades, Buckingham is a three-time Grammy award-winner, and AMI reported that it is proud to offer this contest to music fans.
