PHILADELPHIA -- AMI Entertainment Network has announced several updates and new features for products across its jukebox and TV lines. The updates are designed to simplify management, increase location dwell time and boost revenue.

AMI's Ad Manager helps transform the company's Tap TV service and AMI jukeboxes into powerful digital customer engagement tools. New in Ad Manager is the ability for operators and locations to create, edit and schedule ads from a smartphone or tablet through the AMI operator website. AMI noted that Ad Manager is a very useful tool for locations to use in promoting specials and events, thus boosting sales.

On the Tap TV front, AMI reports that free trivia tournaments are now available in eligible states. Tap TV's hour-by-hour or multi-day competitive trivia events afford location guests the opportunity to turn their trivia expertise into real-world prizes, and reward them for visiting locations to play. Tournaments are organized and scheduled by operators through the AMI operator website.

The new Priority Play feature is now available for AMI jukeboxes. This option allows jukebox patrons to pay an additional credit or credits to choose Priority Play for their song selections. This feature must be enabled by the operator, which can be done by means of the jukebox settings or through the AMI operator website.

Finally, AMI reports that it is continuing to add capabilities to its remote access control panel. Operators can now manage a location's jukebox background music through the AMI operator website. From the website, they can control which genres are played, set a delay between plays, and adjust song popularity.

Operators can contact AMI support with questions about enabling or managing any of these new features. Visitors to the Amusement Expo International are invited to visit AMI Entertainment Network's booth No. 311 to get a close-up look at the enhancements. The show is set for the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center on March 16 and 17 (Wednesday and Thursday).
