PHILADELPHIA -- AMI Entertainment Network has updated BarLink, its popular mobile music app. The added refinements are said to further enhance the ease of checking in, selecting songs and using bonus credits on an AMI jukebox.
The manufacturer reports that BarLink users now have the ability to save the song that's currently playing in a location, simply by tapping the heart icon on the location screen. This saves the song to the patron's favorites list for easy searching and playing later.
From the location screen, users now can see any bonus credits that they have available in that location; bonus credits can now be viewed on the account page, as well. New sorting options are designed to make the process of finding and selecting songs quicker and easier.
Also new is a message that appears on the BarLink user's phone or wearable device when he or she is in a frequently visited AMI jukebox site. Users with Android devices can check in with a single tap on this location notification.
AMI BarLink now is available with Spanish translation for phones that incorporate a native Spanish language setting. When the user enables that setting, the app automatically translates the user interface
The free BarLink app may be loaded down to Apple or Android smartphones from Google Play or Apple's iOS App Store. Once installed, it assists the user in finding a nearby AMI location. The app enables users to search artists, songs and albums, build custom playlists, maintain a balance in an online "wallet" and revalue it with a credit card or by Apple Pay. The system provides full support for Canadian currency and locations. Click here to learn more.
