PHILADELPHIA -- AMI Entertainment Network has announced the release of Tap TV Excite, the latest addition to the Tap TV channel lineup. Tap TV's Excite Channel gives locations and operators a brand-new way to engage patrons while displaying promotional ads created with the AMI Ad Manager.
"Unlike conventional digital signage systems that can quickly bore an audience, Excite features hours of viral videos licensed from extreme athletes, trick-shot masters, and more," AMI explained.
The Excite Channel is available to Tap TV users with a current Trivia or Poker subscription. To activate the Excite Channel, the operator simply uses the Tap TV remote to change the channel from Trivia or Poker to Excite. The content will begin to download while a short video plays.
AMI's Ad Manager feature offers operators more than 1,300 ready-to-use templates for easily creating customized promotional advertising screens to display on AMI jukeboxes and Tap TV-enabled television receivers. These can feature everything from draft lists and food specials to play-off parties and karaoke nights.
Tap TV simplifies the task of displaying location messages and promotional announcements in an attention-getting format. Installation requires only a broadband Internet connection, a dedicated television set and the compact Tap Lite unit. Multiple TVs can be supported from a single unit by using a splitter or pre-installed video switcher. Information is available at taptvtonight.com.
