The American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation has postponed the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award fundraising program due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a press release.
During the 2020 Amusement Expo International, The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Bob Geschine, president and CFO of Betson.
The foundation planned to begin the award fundraising campaign for Bob's Honorary Ad Journal this month, to be distributed during AAMA's annual meeting in September. Instead, the foundation decided to postpone this fundraising activity until 2021.
"As our industry is struggling with the current economic conditions, it's not appropriate for us to be soliciting donations at this time," David Cohen, foundation president, said in the press release.
