Amazon and Starbucks have reportedly discussed a co-branded, cashierless coffee shop, expanding on Amazon Go's "just walk out" technology, according to an OmniTalk report that references an internal Amazon document obtained by Business Insider.

The document reportedly shows a layout of the store, code named "Verde," with lounge seating. Shoppers would use Starbucks' app for buying beverages and Amazon's app for food.

The Amazon checkout app would require users to register for an Amazon account.

Amazon already offers Starbucks products at its Amazon Go convenience stores.

"We don't comment on rumors or speculation," an Amazon spokesperson responded to a request for comment from this website.

Starbucks did not respond to requests for comment at the time of this report.
