Aaeon Electronics to offer smart vending upgrade kit

Aaeon Electronics Inc. will introduce its smart vending upgrade kit, including patent pending technology for retrofitting all brands and models of machines that enables software-controlled dispensing of vending items, according to a company announcement.

• The Avend web portal allows the operator to centrally manage all vending machines in the account. In addition to viewing real-time information, it provides two-way syncing and allows for changing planograms, pricing, item information and machine settings remotely.
• The mobile vend feature allows users to browse and buy vending machine products using a mobile phone, without needing to download an app.
• The voice command vend features allows a user to say the selection number after payment and receive the desired item.
• The gesture control vend features allows the user to use hand motion and gestures to navigate, make and pay for selections.
