Adults Allegedly Encourage Pint-Size Crane Machine Thief

VICTORVILLE, CA -- Another story about a kid climbing into a claw machine is making news, but not for the usual reasons. According to local reports, a child approximately eight years old climbed into the skill crane at a southern California pizza parlor and began handing out toys.

The incident, which occurred on April 19 at John's Incredible Pizza Co. in Victorville, CA, was notable because adults reportedly were encouraging the young thief.

First appearing on social media prior to gaining the attention of local television news outlets, the child apparently made two entries into the skill crane to hand out toys. Managers at the pizzeria eventually intervened after spotting a suspicious number of children clutching plush toys.
