The Adirondack Health Institute's Rural Communities Opioid Response Program is partnering with local agencies to launch harm reduction vending machines in three upstate New York communities, according to an ABC News 10 report.
The machines, to be installed in mid-July, will provide free access to supplies that can help prevent overdose, infectious disease transmission and improve overall health. These include Narcan, fentanyl test strips, xylazine test strips, wound care kits and feminine hygiene products.
