Accent Food Services Acquires Virginias Merrifield Vending

PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- Accent Food Services has acquired the assets of Merrifield Vending , based in Chantilly, VA. PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- Accent Food Services has acquired the assets of Merrifield Vending, based in Chantilly, VA. This is the 11th acquisition this year for Pflugerville, TX-based Accent, and the first add-on for its new mid-Atlantic division.

Accent said Merrifield, which has been in business for more than 54 years, will serve as a pillar in northern Virginia for its mid-Atlantic division and will continue to expand the company's growth in the region. In March, Accent acquired Baltimore's Black Tie Services, establishing its mid-Atlantic division. Former Black Tie owner Scott Meskin leads the charge as division president.

Accent Food Services operates vending machines, micromarkets and office refreshment services in eight states and the District of Columbia.
