Abu Dhabi theme parks to offer facial recognition for entrance, payment

Visitors to theme parks in Abu Dhabi will be able to enter and pay for tickets using facial recognition, according to an Arab News report. Visitors to Warner Bros World, Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World located in Yas Island will be the first to offer FacePass facial recognition.

Facial recognition will also be available at some retail shops and restaurants at the parks.

The technology does not see through masks, so visitors will need to remove their face masks temporarily.
