The American Amusement Machine Association has organized a campaign to educate lawmakers about the impact of the national $15 minimum wage on the amusement industry, according to a press release. The association has provided a letter that members can personalize with their specific information and send to their congressional representative.

The association also has contact information to help members identify their congressional representatives.

"The impact of an abrupt increase in the minimum wage will have a particularly negative impact on our industry, and others staffed with a disproportionate percentage of younger employees especially now, after this year of unprecedented upheaval and distress," the letter stated.

The letter is from Joe Camarota, AAMA president and co-chair of the government relations committee, and Rick Kirby, assistant treasurer and committee co-chair.
