5-Hour Energy Adds Limited Edition Extra-Strength Cherry Shot To Support Military

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI -- Living Essentials LLC, the distributor of 5-hour Energy shots, is now offering an extra-strength cherry flavor and is donating a portion of its the sales revenue to the military.

From May 1 through July 31, the company will donate 5¢ from the sale of every specially marked red, white and blue bottle to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, a nonprofit organization that ensures funding for a full college education for the surviving sons and daughters of fallen military special operations forces who lose their lives in the line of duty.

This is the third year of the program. In previous years, Living Essentials featured a limited-edition, regular-strength cherry flavor shot. This year is the first time the extra-strength cherry flavor is available.

Five-hour Energy shots blend B-vitamins and amino acids, contain zero sugar and four calories, and have caffeine comparable to a cup of coffee. Extra-strength shots contain caffeine comparable to 12-fl.oz. cup of coffee.
