Thief Scoops ATM Police Scoop Thief

ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- Police here arrested a man for using a piece of heavy construction machinery to steal an ATM. According to reports, Tommy Burks, 47, allegedly stole a "construction loader" to steal a freestanding ATM.

A nearby police officer became suspicious when he saw Burks making a getaway with the ATM in the loader's bucket. Apprehended at the scene, Burks was charged with theft of the construction equipment. Additional charges are pending.
