Sweet Potato Skins Expand TGI Fridays Snack Lineup

PHOENIX -- Inventure Foods Inc. is expanding its TGI Friday's-licensed snack line with sweet potato skins.

The new snack is made from real sweet potatoes and seasoned with a mild blend of cane sugar, molasses and salt to accent the natural sweetness of the potatoes. Each serving of Friday's Sweet Potato Skins provides 50% of the daily-recommended value of vitamin A.

Friday's Sweet Potato Skins are available in a 1.35-oz. vend bag and in larger 2.75-oz. and 5-oz. sizes. The suggested retail price ranges from $1 to $2.69 per package.

The sweet potato chips join Friday's Potato Skins Snacks in cheddar and bacon, cheddar and sour cream, jalapeno and cheddar, sour cream and onion, chili cheese and bacon ranch varieties. Rounding out the TGIF snack line, sold widely in vending, are Crunchy Fries, Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks, Jalapeno Poppers and Happy Hour Snack Mixes.
