SEATTLE -- The newest attraction in the Emerald City seems to be a haunted soda vender.
According to local legend, the classic canned soda vending machine has been on location at John St. and Broadway for more than 15 years, but nobody in the vicinity has ever seen it serviced.
If the machine is haunted, then the occupying spirits could be motivated by profit. Locals report that the prices recently increased from 55¢ to 75¢.
The worn machine was recently profiled by Vice magazine and tech site Boing Boing, and now it has its own Facebook page and a YouTube presence. Coca-Cola's blog has also dedicated a page to the mystery machine.
