SEATTLE -- Police in Seattle are investigating a criminal gang that has gone on an ATM crime spree. According to local reports, the gang has stolen at least nine ATMs since November.
Typically targeting small businesses, the thieves use a stolen vehicle to crash through the location's front door and then carry out the ATM. Two of the suspects, who have been captured by surveillance cameras, wear hoodies and masks to conceal their faces.
In hopes of generating leads, the Seattle Police Dept. has released a video of a Dec. 2 ATM robbery that took place in a small grocery store. Anyone with information about the thieves is asked to call the West Precinct Detective Unit at (206) 684-5730.
