WELL DONE: NAMA government affairs manager Wes Fisher (r.) takes opportunitiy at NCSL legislative conference to thank Rep. Harold "Trey" Stewart (R-ME), Assistant Minority leader, for assisting NAMA and Pine Tree Vending Association in defeating a proposed vending tax increase in his state.
CHICAGO -- Joining 5,500 attendees focusing on topics ranging from criminal justice and heathcare to taxes and transportation, National Automatic Merchandising Association government affairs manager Wes Fisher participated in the National Conference of State Legislature's (NCSL) annual Legislative Summit in Nashville, TN, Aug. 5 through 8.

"This is another opportunity to broaden our team's advocacy reach in terms of building bridges and delivering value for our members," said NAMA director of federal and state affairs Mike Goscinki. "We are consistently looking to increase our impact with state-level elected officials to promote and protect the industry. Active participation in national programs like NCSL enables our team to expand NAMA's network amongst state lawmakers and legislative staff throughout the country. Learning from experts about solutions to the country's most pressing state issues benefits the industry."
