Olea micro market kioskCERRITOS, CA -- Olea Kiosks Inc. is rolling out two kiosks designed for micromarket developers and operators. They are the small-footprint freestanding California model and the ultra-compact Carolina. Both can be serviced from the front side for against-the-wall applications.

Olea's systems come with 19" touchscreen monitors and barcode scanners that can be used for products, loyalty cards and cellphones. They accept cash, credit cards, Apple Pay or payment through biometrics, and both models are available with either PCI- or EMV-compliant devices. They can be accessed by landline, Wi-Fi or cellular connections.

"Kiosks in the micromarket space tend to be repurposed designs that are not fit for this environment," said chief executive Frank Olea. Moreover, he noted, many kiosks used in micromarkets are proprietary designs that are not available to other developers.

"We've just changed all of that with these two new kiosks designed specifically for micromarkets," Olea said.

Both kiosks are ADA-compliant and accommodate modular accessories, allowing operators to order them with only the hardware that they need for their application. They are available with fully customizable color and graphic options that allow operators to integrate their brands.

No minimum purchase quantity is required and the kiosks can be delivered with a lead time as short as three weeks from date of order. While the kiosks are built to work with any software platform, Olea pointed out that SDKs are available to allow for customization to the operator's chosen application.

Olea Kiosks has been designing, engineering and manufacturing kiosks for more than 40 years.
