CARLSTADT, NJ -- Ken Traina has joined H. Betti Industries Inc. as chief operating officer. He will be responsible for operational excellence across the company's supply chain, sourcing, warehousing, distribution, information technology, human resources and other functions. He will support both Betson Enterprises and Imperial, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers as well as identifying and implementing revenue growth opportunities.

Prior to joining H. Betti, Traina served for 11 years with Hartz Mountain Corp., holding positions of increasing responsibility, most recently vice-president -- supply chain operations, overseeing manufacturing, engineering, quality, procurement, planning, distribution and logistics.

"Ken is a great addition to our senior executive team," said H. Betti Industries president and chief financial officer Robert Geschine. "Ken will help us better support our customers through greater operational efficiencies within our equipment, parts and service companies."

H. Betti Industries is the parent company of Betson Enterprises, a worldwide leader in distribution of amusement and vending equipment, parts and services. It was established in 1934.

Imperial is a premier distributor of billiards equipment and licensed products from the NFL, MLB, NHL and several high-profile colleges and universities. It has served the industry for more than 60 years.
