BRUSSELS, Belgium -- The European Vending and Coffee Service Association reports that Inepro (Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands), an integrator and provider of electronic payment systems, has become a direct member.

Founded in 1992, Inepro has transformed itself from a supplier of coin-operated machines into an innovative developer of identification, cashless payment, document and management solutions. The company develops, produces and supplies all software and hardware itself.

Offering modular solutions that are easily adapted to the size and requirements of its customers, Inepro has attracted a range of large and small-scale (international) organizations as customers. In addition to its headquarters in North Holland, Inepro has offices in Central and South America, England, Germany and Spain.

EVA director-general Erwin Wetzel welcomed the company to EVA. "This year has brought a range of developments in electronic payments for vending, with the new Strong Customer Authentication rules implemented since September, and the updated version of our electronic payment specification being finalized in committee," Wetzel said. "For me, the important activity in the cashless segment demonstrates the investment companies are currently making in our industry, and I am pleased to see Inepro join and add to an already strong group of forward-looking vending companies, striving to ensure that vending remains convenient and a preferred choice for consumers."

EVA is a not-for-profit trade association established in 1994, representing the interests of the whole European vending and office coffee service industry before the European Union institutions and other relevant authorities and bodies. The EVA is an international association governed by Belgian law; its membership includes both national associations and companies.
