Deadpool Thieves Attempt ATM Robbery

COCOA, FL -- Two men dressed as the Marvel Comics' anti-hero Deadpool (aka "Merc with a Mouth") entered a gas station in Cocoa, FL, and attempted to steal an ATM.

The Jan. 7 robbery did not go as planned. While able to carry the ATM from the location to a stolen van where they loaded it, the dopey duo apparently was unable to drive the van from the nearby parking lot. Instead, an accomplice driving a white Chevrolet Tahoe picked them up.

Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool in the upcoming feature film, is not considered a suspect at this time.
