SANTA CLARA, CA -- CloudMinds Technology Inc. -- a global pioneer in cloud artificial intelligence architecture that makes robots and businesses smarter -- has launched a Smart Robot rental program that provides consumers and businesses easy access to intelligent cloud service robots. The Santa Clara, CA-based company also developed and markets a Cloud Vending Machine and hinted that coming next may be a Cloud Vending Robot.

From natural language processing (NLP) technology that enables smart interactions and conversations in multiple languages, dancing, gestures to other advanced capabilities for entertaining guests, CloudMinds says it humanoid cloud robots can help create customized brand experiences and memorable interactions that aren't possible with ordinary robots.

Scherb did not provide any further detail on the Cloud Vending Robot, but the company is already ahead of the technological curve in vending with its Cloud Vending Machine is a smart vending machine designed to automate the retail purchase and checkout process. Using its Human Augmented Robotics Intelligence (HARIX) cloud AI platform, the smart vending machine uses AI, IoT sensors and deep learning capabilities to provide product recommendations, targeted advertising, smart inventory management and easy integration with other business systems.

The first intelligent humanoid robot available through the CloudMinds Smart Robot rental program is the popular Cloud Pepper robot -- already deployed globally and making an impact across several industry verticals. The robot can detect human moods, use facial recognition to identify returning guests, use NLP to understand and converse in multiple languages, track demographics and analyze customer interactions.

Sample applications for the robot include brand ambassador at tradeshows related to technology, medical or other fields; brand ambassador and representative at special events for fashion brands and book launches; and receptionist and information services representative at community centers, shopping centers, airports, train stations, airports, banks, hospitals and schools.
