BURNABY, BC -- Brokerhouse Distributing is now the exclusive distributor for Three Square Market (32M) in eastern Canada through its recent purchase of Laniel Canada Inc.
André Labbée Inc., the eastern Canadian affiliate of Brokerhouse Distributors, kicked off the distribution agreement by featuring 32M's micromarket at the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association's mid-October trade show held in Niagara Falls.
Brokerhouse Distributing is Canada's leading equipment and product distributor to the vending and office coffee service industry. Brokerhouse and André Labbeé president Jeff Suitor said Laniel's assets have provided his company with the resources to cultivate emerging channels. It acquired Laniel a few months ago. | SEE STORY
"We were very pleased that following the acquisition of Laniel assets, that the Brokerhouse team chose to continue exclusively representing our brand," said 32M chief operating officer Patrick McMullan. "We believe that this new relationship with the Andre Labbee team will allow us to strengthen our overall presence throughout the Canadian marketplace."
Three Square micromarkets have several new enhancements, including debit processing and a patent-pending kiosk integrated cooler lock. The company also has several exclusive business relationships that it is expected to reveal in the next 90 days.
McMullan predicted that the Brokerhouse group of distributors will make 32M the dominant micromarket in Canada, and will facilitate more than 200 market openings by the end of 2016. "We will have the entire country covered with Canadian companies serving Canadian operators ... no competitor can touch this," he said.
Three Square Market now has more than 1,200 micromarkets in operation in the U.S., Canada, Central America and Australia. It plans to expand into Europe in the near future.
