CHICAGO --
Betson Enterprises (Carlstadt, NJ) showcased a popular selection of its products for food and beverage service at the 2019 National Restaurant Association show late last month. This year marked the 100th presentation of the NRA Show, and the centennial drew more than 43,000 industry members to McCormick Place here.
Among Betson products that attracted attention at the show was the Goldfinger monitor line. According to Betson, Goldfinger can customize touchscreen display options for a variety of applications, delivering interactive technology to help create a more personalized experience and capture customers' interest.
The Goldfinger monitor Betson demonstrated at the NRA Show is offered in a kiosk with 32GB ram, a solid-state drive and an 8MP camera as well as an embedded Intel Core i7 quad-core processor (Dawson Canyon). The 49" ultra-bright 4K portrait/10-point infrared touchscreen display provides high-impact graphics and are interface-ready for available stereo sound and microphone accessories.
Also on display in the Betson exhibit was a "smart refrigerator" merchandising system for fresh meals and beverages in self-service installations. Betson reports that the Byte system "is an affordable, efficient service that gives customers access to fresh meals from the brands they love."
On the premium beverage front, Betson partnered with the Cafection team to showcase Cafection's Encore 29 coffee machine, currently finding favor in the office refreshment market, as well as components and parts associated with the piece. Betson is the official U.S. distributor of Cafection OCS parts and accessories.
A division of H. Betti Industries Inc., Betson was founded in 1934. Its comprehensive product line includes amusement games, vending equipment, parts and billiards, available through its nationwide network of sales and distribution offices. The company also offers client-specific consultative solutions for design, installation, service and export of equipment, as well as competitive interest rates for leasing and financing, and deferred payments through its private in-house lending company.
