HOUSTON -- Allpoint , a surcharge-free ATM network headquartered here, said it has added 125 Kroger grocery stores in the Atlanta metropolitan area. HOUSTON -- Allpoint, a surcharge-free ATM network headquartered here, said it has added 125 Kroger grocery stores in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The addition of the new Georgia locations builds on Allpoint's existing relationship with Kroger, the nation's largest grocer. Allpoint ATMs are presently located in more than 1,300 Kroger grocery and convenience stores in 34 states.
Allpoint Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardtronics plc., is said to be the world's largest surcharge-free ATM network with an estimated 55,0000 locations in Australia, Canada, Mexico, the UK and the U.S.
News of the Kroger expansion followed an announcement of Allpoint's addition of select Rite Aid Pharmacy store locations in the Northeast, mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions. The company's ATMs are now available in more than 3,000. Rite Aid stores.
