AdvancePierre Debuts Hot n Ready Breakfast Square Wraps

CINCINNATI -- AdvancePierre Foods has added a square-shaped sausage, egg and cheese wrap to its selection of Hot 'n' Ready breakfast sandwiches.

The new breakfast square includes pork sausage topped with cheese and an omelet made with green and red bell peppers wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. The handheld sandwich is packaged in crisp, white paper and can be served hot from a sandwich warmer or microwaved on demand from a cold case. It has a 10-day refrigerated, nine-month frozen, shelf life.

"Tortilla and flatbread breakfast sandwiches are a huge trend," said AdvancePierre president of convenience channels Tony Schroder. "With the fresh and savory flavor combination, retailers have a guaranteed customer-pleaser for breakfast, lunch and snack time."
