MONTREAL -- Payment processor Acceo Solutions Inc. and payment solution provider Desjardins Group are bringing unattended contactless payment to Canada through certification of Ingenico Group's iSeries smart terminals.

Ideal for self-service markets like vending machines, the Ingenico payment platform is designed to cut complexity in payment and security, and allow merchants to process more transactions in less time. No PIN is required, and the solution supports contactless EMV payment and protects cardholder data with secured end-to-end encryption.

Desjardins Group is the first to have certified France-based Ingenico's iUC180B payment device with Acceo's Tender Retail division in Canada, and has also certified other Acceo-powered smart terminals in the company's unattended iSelf series.
