Dragon Claw vending machine, Benchmark Games, skill crane game HYPOLUXO, FL -- Making its debut at the 2016 Bowl Expo was the latest member in Benchmark Games' Xtreme family. The Dragon Claw crane features a dragon with a swinging claw, guarding its hoard of treasure from its perch atop an 11-ft. tower. This year's Bowl Expo took place in late June at Mandalay Bay convention center in Las Vegas, where Dragon Claw turned heads -- upward.

Benchmark's newest "towering" game incorporates an adjustable animated marquee that can be lowered to accommodate locations' ceiling heights without compromising the aesthetic appeal of the piece, the company reported.

The large cabinet offers an unobstructed 360° view of the prizes in the dragon's treasure-trove and is enhanced by a raised product divider, LED illumination and eye-catching graphics. Its extreme height notwithstanding, the new game is designed with a footprint that makes economical use of floorspace.

Dragon's Claw is said to be ideal for use with jumbo plush and 8-1/2" balls. It's designed to be a showpiece, whether it's standing alone or banked in a plural layout. It's available for shipment now.

Benchmark president Al Kress reports that the game embodies his company's new strategic perspective. "We anticipate that Dragon's Claw will become an FEC staple," Kress said. "It is the first piece that represents Benchmark's new direction, spirit of creativity and innovation, and deliberate product design."

Benchmark's Xtreme games lineup include Monster Drop, Power Drop and Sweeper. Monster Drop Single, a one-player version, has found favor with operators of gamerooms in bowling centers and similar locations. Chaos is the latest addition to the Monster Drop family. The factory also markets Ticket Depot, a redemption solution that works with automatic scoring systems for bowling centers, and serves as an unattended ticket-to-prizes redemption solution.
