cashless arcade, Embed, Round One Entertainment DALLAS -- Embed reports that it has accelerated the deployment of its revenue management system by completing the latest in an ongoing series of installations for clients Round One Entertainment (Osaka, Japan) and ACS Amusements (Cincinnati, OH).

One of these systems now in use at Round One's newest entertainment center in Grapevine, TX. The 78,300-sq.ft. facility is the largest Round One store in Texas, and the 10th in the chain to receive the Embed technology. It uses Embed's cashless system to control nearly 500 games and attractions, the emPOS point-of-sales system and the firm's Redemption Pro to manage its prize center.

Round One has established over 100 locations worldwide, serving 25 million customers annually. Its facilities offer state-of-the-art bowling and the latest arcade games, including exclusive Japanese models, as well as a variety of Japanese photobooths. It also furnishes private rooms for karaoke in English, Japanese and other languages. Rounding out the amusement mix are billiards, darts and ping pong. On the hospitality side, Round One offers full-service dining with a bar featuring a selection of beer, wine and (of course) sake.

"Embed has supported us since we opened our first store in the U.S. seven years ago," said Round One amusement director Akira Ide. "They are always trying their best to fit our needs, making our operations go as smoothly as possible."

Another long-term client is ACS Amusements, for whom Embed reports completing its 25th revenue-management system. ACS offers a complete package of gameroom services to locations across the U.S. (and now in Canada), including game management through its Gameplan Industries unit, redemption and inventory management from Alligator Toys, and game support and maintenance by ServiceTrac, as well as its revenue sharing division.

"Embed has allowed us to grow our business on a nationwide scale," said owner Jeff Ernst.

"Milestones like this represent commitment, added Ted Parsons, general manager of U.S. operations for Embed's parent company Helix Leisure.

Helix's Embed unit has offices in the U.S., the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Australia. Embed's systems accommodate admissions control, machine monitoring, cashless operation of games and attractions.

In other news, Embed became the cashless technology provider the new King Putt entertainment center in Henderson, NV, and Fun City in India.
