CARLSTADT, NJ -- Betson Enterprises reports that it has been chosen by Andretti Indoor Karting & Games to provide family entertainment equipment and related services for the development of Andretti's newest complex in Orlando, FL.

This facility boasts an impressive 150,000 square feet of space and houses what is claimed to be the world's first indoor high-speed karting track with multiple modular track designs, elevation changes and banked turns. Beyond that track will be a multitude of attractions, including a state of the art 20,000-sq.ft. gameroom, a laser tag arena, an elevated ropes course incorporating what is described as the first curved zip line, along with professional racing simulators, 12 lanes of boutique bowling and an interactive Dark Ride motion theater.

The gameroom design and layout will showcase a combination of more than 120 industry-leading video, redemption and prize games. New interactive titles, top earners and reengineered classics will all be part of the gameroom's equipment mix. A Victory Lane Redemption counter will offer prizes ranging from toys, electronics and game systems to plush animals and bicycles. Each guest will receive a "pit pass" card to electronically store tickets for immediate redemption or accumulation toward a higher-value prize.

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games managing member Eddie Hamann said that during the bidding process, Betson's recommendations were substantiated with verifiable data for the right combination of video and redemption games. "The end result is Andretti Indoor Karting and Games will offer a high-level gameroom experience for all age groups and skill levels," he said.

For Betson, gameroom design is both an art and a science, according to the company's FEC development director, Dave Sexton. "The name Andretti is synonymous with innovation and technology. Our goal is to enhance the brand by delivering an unsurpassed customized gameroom journey to attract and entertain every Andretti customer," he said.

Established in 2001, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games operates entertainment centers in Rosewell and Marietta, GA. Each site features the Andretti Grill, a full restaurant and bar capable of serving the facilities' more than 10,000 sq.ft. of event and meeting space. It's online at www.andrettikarting.com.

Founded in 1934, Betson Enterprises, a division of H. Betti Industries Inc., is the nation's largest distributor of amusement and vending machines. It maintains 14 offices.
