Inventure Foods Adds Hotdog-Flavored Chip To Nathan's Famous Line

Nathan's Famous, Inventure Food, hot dog flavor chips PHOENIX -- Inventure Foods Inc. is commemorating Nathan's Famous's 100th year with a new potato chip flavored like Nathan's iconic hotdog, complete with the taste of ketchup, mustard and relish.

Nathan's Famous hotdog chips, described as being "remarkably accurate in its replication of the quintessential dog," will be available in 1.25-oz. bags sold in vending machines and 4-oz. bags sold in grocery and convenience stores nationwide, beginning this month. The suggested retail price is $1 and $1.99 per package, respectively.

The chips contain 150 calories per serving, are gluten-free and have zero trans fat.

Inventure Foods Inc. manufactures the Nathan's Famous snacks under a licensing agreement with Nathan's Famous Inc. that commenced in the fourth quarter of 2011.
