New York Vending Association Plans Sept. 20 Golf Outing, Dinner Meeting

WHITE PLAINS, NY -- The New York State Automatic Vending Association will hold its sixth annual Herb Luckower Golf Tournament and dinner meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Westchester Hills Golf Club here.

The annual event is NYSAVA's main fundraising event of the year to support its advocacy efforts on behalf of the industry throughout the state.

NYSAVA and National Automatic Merchandising Association officials will discuss federal and state legislation impacting the vending and office coffee service business and explain how operators can get involved in the Taste NY vending machine program that features products grown and produced in the state.

Registration for the golf tournament will open at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a 1 p.m. shotgun start. A cocktail hour, followed by NYSAVA's business meeting and dinner will follow, beginning at 6 p.m. Golf, lunch, cocktails and dinner costs $300 a person; the per-person fee for cocktails and dinner only is $125.
